Holland America Line, Rotterdam, Caribbean Cruise, 18th February 2023, Amber Cove, Dominican republic. Damajagua Waterfalls.

Amber Cove is another purpose built cruise port, I had struggled to find out about independent tours here. I wanted to visit the  Damajagua waterfalls, there are 27 waterfalls to jump down. But struggling to find out how we would get to the waterfalls I booked a ships tour that was to 7 waterfalls. 

A coach took us the short journey to the waterfalls, were the guide told us that due to a lack of rain only 7 waterfalls were open and no jumping was allowed. 

We were given hats, life jackets and water shoes then walked up to the first waterfall, and proceeded to slide down the 7 waterfalls and swim in the canyon. It was good fun.

Back at Amber Cove we just relaxed by the pool, there is no beach at this cruise port. 

We went to the 21.30 show The Knights of Music, a British trio singing the songs of British Knights - or Sirs i.e Sir Tom Jones, Sir Paul McCartney, it was a good show, also both bands were good tonight in  the BB Kings and The Rolling Stone Rock.
