Virgin Atlantic; London Heathrow to Delhi. VS300 and VS301
I flew from Manchester to Delhi and back in January 2019.
I have already written about the BA leg of the flight so will not recap on that.
The Manchester flight landed at terminal 5 in London Heathrow. As Virgin fly from terminal 3, we had to walk from terminal 5 to terminal 3, it did not take very long. We were required to check in at the Virgin desk on the lower level of terminal 3. The check in staff were very pleasant and advised us we could use the Virgin Clubhouse and directed us to its location.
The Virgin Clubhouse was a surprise, with a great ambiance, good seating areas, a spa and a great bar. Sadly due to the late arrival of the BA flight our stay was short but sweet.
The flight to Delhi - VS300 was a night flight and it took off on time and it was a comfortable and uneventful flight into Indira Gandhi Airport. the crew on the flight were all friendly and helpful. the beds in buisness class on the Dreamliner flip over into fully flat beds and were very comfortable to sleep in.
On the return leg to LHR, again it was a good experience; the only thing that could be improved is the food. I had the Roasted Red Pepper Soup, then Chicken Breast with Dauphinoise potatoes - all the other options were curry! However I would use Virgin again.
