Celebrity Millennium was the first Celebrity ship we sailed on; in Alaska, so we were exited to sail on her again., but this time with the sun. As the ship was calling in Sri Lanka, Transit visas were needed and I had applied and been granted them on line - no charge for a transit visa. For India, e visas can now be applied for on line. Its a complicated form and the web site is challenging. But I had applied for and been granted our visas prior to paying the balance for the cruise. The visa was £32.00 each, so considerably less than my visit in 2029.

The ship was docked at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre, and we could see it from the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. We got a taxi to the port, but the taxi driver dropped us off at the Marina South Pier, so we had a long walk along a covered walkway for our 15.30 check in.
The cases were taken and the check in process smooth, visas for India and Sri Lanka were checked then we walked up the covered gangplank and onto the ship.
Out cabin was a midships veranda number 7089 and was perfect.
The cases arrived very quickly and we unpacked. did our safety briefing and clocked into our muster station.
The sail away was at 20.00. We could just see the Gardens by the bay light show as we said goodbye to Singapore.
I had chosen set dining at 20:15, and we were happy to find our table for two by the big windows at the rear for the ship. The meal and service were perfect.
Then it was time to head for the Martini Bar, put the headphones on and enjoy the silent disco. Tomorrow was a sea day so no rush to get to bed.
