Indonesian Adventure 2024. First stop, Malaysia ! Kuala Lumpur and the Banyan Tree

 Kuala Lumpur (KL).

The airport taxi took over and hour to get into the city. 

In KL The Banyan Tree Hotel is a high rise building, that also has ‘residences’ in it. The hotel is located on the 53rd floor. 

At check in we were greeted by attentive staff, with cold hand towels, delicious juice and a fridge magnet. Very promptly we were shown to our room. I had booked a standard room. It was not very ‘standard’, it was fabulous.

Especially the bathroom, with the most gorgeous bath with a view.

Once settled in, I went over to the Pavilion Mall to find a nail salon to bet a manicure and pedicure. I had the best pedicure I have ever had. 

Then we went up to the roof top bar in the Banyan Tree for drinks before getting off to sleep.
