How to get a Job as Emirates Cabin Crew part two.

The Face to Face Interview. Step 2......
On a wet summers day..........Get up, get suite and booted. Go to Liverpool for 09.00.
But most important remember to take the book ,THE COMPLETE CABIN CREW INTERVIEW MANUAL - THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO BEING SUCCESSFUL AT A FLIGHT ATTENDANT INTERVIEW by Caitlyn Rogers.
The interview was just a chat with the two uniformed Emirates staff, both were very nice.
The question were straight out of the book! The session lasted about 25 mins.
There was now a six week wait for the decision to be made.
We went to France for the Rugby World Cup 2007. The games were played all over France but it was in Paris, whilst waiting for the final game, that she received a phone call on her mobile to tell her she had got the job! Now there was lots to be done.
Emirates wanted photos, suites were got from Next, and the photo session booked and the photos sent off. We then got a call that the photos were in the ‘maybe’ pile. More photos were requested to help them make up thier minds.....the advise was that the photos needed to show her with 'more make up'!
Selfridges MAC counter did a ‘makeover’, and £££ were spent on the makeup, photos redone, wait again. This time it was a YES, but now you need a medical! And you only have two weeks to get it done.

The medical was the worst bit so far. They wanted a full medical, x-rays, full vaccination record, sight test, hearing test, dental health check. Amazingly it was all ready within 14 days and email to Emirates in Dubai.
Emirates mail box has a problem, it is too small to let large files be delivered to it.............after much frustration the documents were sent by Fax.
By now it was November, and still no news, then on December the 11th, an email with a ‘Date of Joining’, and that date was not far off...it was Jan 11th 2008.
So that’s it, how to get a job with Emirates.............a long process!
